Like most people with anxiety, getting a good night’s sleep can be a real challenge for me. Falling asleep can be difficult if my mind is still ‘on’ and I’m a pretty light sleeper, so once I’m asleep the goal is to stay that way. The way I wake up is pretty important too. I detest the shrill noise of traditional alarm clocks, which scare me out of my sleep and give me heart palpitations.
The Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System handles all of the above for me. It is a white noise, sleep sound machine, and gentle alarm clock all rolled up in one.
I looked around, and you could spend hundreds on other white noise /sleep /alarm clocks. I feel the price is right at only $49.99 with free shipping, but I was sold on the cool features — relaxing sounds to lull me to sleep AND lull me awake — and of course it had good customer reviews on Amazon.
- 2010 Model – Deep Sleep, Relaxation, or Power Nap with this Relaxation Sound Machine
- Mask Distracting Noise by creating your own sound environment
- 6 Nature Sounds for a Peaceful environment: Ocean Surf, Rain, Stream, White Noise, Summer Night, Wind
- Timer offers 4 settings; continuous, 30, 60, and 90 minutes
The unit is very easy to operate, with the labeled switches for sounds, two knobs for duration and volume, and the large area to push for on/off. I could upgrade my machine with additional sound cards (purchased separately) but I personally don’t need more sounds than the 6 it already comes with.
With the Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System, waking up fully rested and refreshed is no longer a rarity for me. When I wake up refreshed, I am more alert and less anxious throughout my day. Not to mention it’s so much nicer than having to take something like Ambien or Tylenol PM.
One of the best ways to stay asleep is to use the continuous play feature and just leave the white noise or ocean surf on low all night.
There’s nothing like a good night’s sleep!
Are you getting poor quality sleep or very little sleep? Buy the Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System from Amazon and start sleeping better with this amazing little machine.
I wish you peace,
