Today we’re going to talk about taking positive action steps- to easily create the life you want and deserve!
Over the past Christmas I went to visit my brother in Chicago. I picked up a magazine at the airport to help pass the time. There was an article I read in it about writing down your 10 best life goals on paper day. You write them in the present tense, very simply stated, and as if the goal were already met.
The act of writing embeds the words and thoughts into your subconscious, which is where the magic happens. Your subconscious believes the words, and as you continue this exercise daily, you will see that the things you write about will come to pass.
Last night I wrote down 7 goals for my life, for this year 2015, that I want to make happen.
My goals are to be happy in my life emotionally, happy in my family, happy and successful at work, and healthy. I want a healthy marriage and for my husband and I to both have good jobs.
Tonight I will rewrite these goals, and continue each night.
This is taking positive action to create the life I want. I will turn 50 at the end of this year, and I intend to make 49 the very best year possible for me.
I know this might sound like new age fluff, but I am doing this exercise wholeheartedly, knowing that everything I set as a goal and put my mind to, I will achieve. The reason I know this is because I have done these types of things in the past…
About 10 years ago I learned about making a vision board to help me get the things in life I wanted. I borrowed one of my kids posterboards and then went through a pile of magazines, cutting out pictures and words and phrases that had a lot of meaning for me personally.
I treated this very seriously, putting the posterboard directly opposite my bed so that it was the first thing I would see in the morning and the last thing I would see before I turned out the lights at night. I remember I also made that corner of my room into a little alter of sorts, complete with a few pretty candles and some dried flowers from my girls.
When I look back on my vision board, every single thing I had on that board did come to pass. Even material things. 🙂
A few years ago, when my father had a large malignant tumor in his bladder, my sister and I both joined forces and we used the power of our minds to picture him perfectly healthy, with a healthy bladder. Specifically, we studied, and listened to the 11 Forgotten Laws course, which I blogged about at the time.
We listened to our programs during the week and sent positive healing energy to our Dad. We talked about our progress and setbacks usually once a week on our weekend phone chats. My Dad went through 2 major surgeries and several weeks of treatment that made him weak and sick. And today by the grace of God he is cancer free. My sister and I both used this wonderful program to help train our thinking.
I know with all my heart that my sister and I harnessed our energies and helped heal my dad. 🙂
Last May I remember how the 60 Second Panic Solution arrived in my inbox one morning from the creators of the program. It took me a few days to look at the program, but when I did, I was so blown away and delighted. It was like I was sent a miracle, an answer to all the prayers I have every said to please heal me from anxiety and panic.
I have used this program consistently throughout 2014, and I can say without reservation that my anxiety is at an all time low in my life.

I am bringing up these events in my life to show you that, no matter what the circumstances in your life, without question, you can create the life you want. You can harness the unlimited power of your mind and create wonderful, healthy, life affirming things for yourself.
Start with a posterboard. Or with a goal setting journal. Or pick one of the programs I mention here. Then commit yourself to using it every day for 30 days. Immerse yourself in your program of choice. Consistency is key here. And I guarantee you will never look back.
We are all born with a right to joy, peace and happiness. If you don’t have these things in your life right now, you can create them. The only way to fail is if you never start.
So start small, but start today.
