Psst…You Are Beautiful

I was so moved by this Dove commercial. Take 2 minutes and watch:

Look in the mirror and learn to be kind to that person staring back at you. That person deserves to be treated well.

Do not judge yourself so harshly. See how others see you in a more positive light than you see yourself.

Every one of us has things that are “beautiful”- maybe our smile, our personality, the way we treat others.

Remember today that how you think of yourself means a lot.

Think highly of yourself.

I know anxiety and panic can do a number on our self esteem, but this is not a measure of our character or of our value as a person.

Speaking from the experience of my life, I thought poorly of myself for far too long. How I thought about myslef was I’m sure one of the reasons I stayed anxious and miserable for so long.

We all have so many wonderful things to be happy and grateful about. Take a moment and see the goodness and beauty in you. You are a precious child of the universe.

Remember- you are beautiful! Have a wonderful day!

I wish you peace,
Jill G.

Wow… It made me tearful watching this video, since so many women do not know their worth. I know I struggle with it too.

    Thanks for sharing:)

Wow. Such a powerful message. We should take focus off our features that we don’t like and look at the ones we do. I like my eyes…I’m going to look at them more now.
