Overcoming Fear…little by little

faithWhen overcoming fear, it helps to have faith. They say that the opposite of fear is faith. Today I have faith that I will be ok no matter what. This knowledge fills me with such joy and gratitude.

What do I have faith in? Well, myself, actually–but in my Creator first. I remember that I am made in my Creator’s likeness, so I am made of some pretty good stuff. And the same goes for you! 🙂

Here is what fear stands for when I forget that I have the power to positively affect the course of my life with positive affirmations, using my tools when anxiety pops up, and by healthy living:


Living in fear was a lifelong learned pattern, and having panic attacks made it very difficult. It is not easy to undo, but it is not impossible either.

I am doing it a little bit at a time (using my self help tools, staying positive, and with gentle exposure therapy in all things that scare me).

This journey has been over 3 years now and I can say for sure: It gets easier with time, too. I am continually learning to erase fear and replace it with faith. Living in faith brings happiness and abundance beyond my wildest dreams.
