I get emails and messages every day from people asking me how to overcome panic attacks. I get asked this question all the time and I thought it would be helpful to put all the information into one short report.
So I did.
For me, blogging about my life with panic attacks and anxiety has opened up my world in so many ways. I have shared my struggles and triumphs with you in my journey out of the hell of living with chronic anxiety, social anxiety and panic.
I also feel accountable to you to keep putting myself out there and sharing with you through my ups and downs as I continue to learn how to overcome panic attacks.

What hurts is when I hear how many of you are struggling so badly. Like I said I get asked every day – How can I overcome panic attacks?.. How can I stop being afraid of panic attacks?.. What should I do?? etc. etc.
I wish I could take every anxious person and hold them and tell them that they can be ok, if they just believe they can get better and then put forth the effort to do the work.
Learning how to overcome panic attacks takes practice and persistence, and like I say, if I can do it, anyone can do it. 😉
Believe me, I get it that anxiety seriously messes with your thoughts and mind. You believe those scary horrific thoughts and think, *No Way* can I ever get better. (I hate my life, I hate anxiety, why me, why won’t it go away, etc.)
It’s often a case of being at a low point and feeling very fed up that someone is ready to actually hear and be willing to do the simple steps it takes to overcome panic attacks. (And just to be clear, by simple I mean the theories are simple to understand- I do realize that implementing them takes practice, practice, practice )
I don’t hide that fact that I did noting but take pills for over 3 decades. On some level, I wasn’t ready to face my fears then. But today I am, thank God.
